I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Nonlinear Algebra group of Bernd Sturmfels at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences in Leipzig. Before this I was a PhD student under the supervision of Martin Bright and Ronald van Luijk at Universiteit Leiden. In my thesis I worked on the density of rational points and the configurations of lines on del Pezzo surfaces of degree one, and their relation to torsion points on elliptic fibrations.
