I am working as a post doc in the Information Theory of Cognitive Systems Group at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences in Leipzig.

I am currently working for the project Evolution of Networks: Modeling the complexity and robustness of evolving biochemical networks, which is funded by the VW Stiftung. I coordinate the VW seminar, the regular meeting of this project.

My main research interests are:

• Complex networks and random graphs
• Conditional Independence models
• Algebraic Statistical Models and Exponential Families
• Information Geometry: Maximizing the Information Divergence
